Days after hurricane Ian, the public adjuster Oscar and some other staff members came to SWFL to assess the damages and have people file claims with them. Things started out well, however, as months went by that is when he became dishonest. One incident was our insurance company had their inspector come to our house to assess the damages, Oscar asked us to leave the premises and that he would be meeting the inspector. Well, you see my husband did leave, however he just went across the street to the neighbor’s house, and guess what Oscar NEVER showed up! On 3 occasions I asked Oscar if he was there, and he lied all 3 times. At that point his character and integrity were not one I could trust. Oscar decided to communicate with my husband only. How unprofessional is that! What he didn’t know is that in our household, my husband and I make decisions together no matter what.
As to Idana in the mortgage department, her tone is very condescending! When we had questions, she showed frustration when doing her job, which is explaining things in detail. She also liked to always place blame on our insurance and mortgage company for not doing something, which in turn it was her department who failed to do so. Asked her to show me proof of the communication and she was not able to, but our insurance and mortgage company had documentation of all conversations had with them. She also withheld information from us.

I’m hoping to get in touch with the owner of the company to give them a detailed explanation on our overall experience with their employees.

Our final thoughts of this company’s staff: they are unprofessional, dishonest, condescending and they take on more than they can handle.
