Terrible Service and absolutely Horrendous Response Time from QuestGates.

It took QuestGates 3 years to conclude our file and get us a payout (all the more surprising as the claim was a no fault claim which did not involve any other parties and the storm/natural disaster was not an isolated incident as every property on our road sustained flooding from the Thames Water mains).

Finally after 3 years the payout received was substantially lower than what would be considered fair and just for the works against the official invoices being presented from approved suppliers.

Avoid QuestGates if you can.

I’ve no idea how they manage to get 1.5 stars - probably the worst company I have ever dealt with. No communication, complete lack of interest in anything, no organisation skills, cannot do simple tasks or even make appointments. If you have any choice then go elsewhere. If they are foisted on you by your insurance company then don’t expect anything to happen or for anyone to keep you updated of informed. I’d give less than one star if I could.

Avoid this Company - instructed by NIG to settle my Property Damage Claim (Third Party claiming against NIG). After looking at their reviews I was tempted to cancel and instruct another Loss Adjustor. Matt Stirrup put on the Mr Nice Guy, "we are here to help.....we just want to settle the claim..." However, after following their instructions and supplying evidence to receive settlement offer, Matt reneges on his promise to call and settle within agreed timeline but completely lies about the reason he cannot settle and blames this on the Insured. I then called the Insured to ask why they were delaying my claim, not submitting evidence which turns out to be a complete lie & fabrication. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

I am deeply disappointed by the lack of organization and professionalism exhibited by this company. It is perplexing to me why Axa continues to engage with them. The communication with clients is subpar, updates are not provided in a timely manner, and there have been significant breaches of confidentiality. I have experienced firsthand the mishandling of sensitive information, with emails intended for my company erroneously sent to another recipient, resulting in a serious data breach.

Furthermore, the process of claim settlements has been excessively prolonged, largely due to the inefficiency and apparent lack of competence demonstrated by Colin @questgate. His inadequate time management skills and unresponsiveness to phone calls have only exacerbated the situation. It is evident that the individual responsible for managing the claims is ill-equipped to handle them effectively, causing further delays and frustration.

The ongoing issues and lack of professionalism within this company are concerning and warrant immediate attention and remedial action. The handling of sensitive information and client claims should be executed with the utmost care, diligence, and respect for confidentiality. These persistent challenges must be addressed promptly to restore confidence in the services provided.

Disgraceful organisation employing underhand tactics to block a legitimate insurance claim while acting on behalf of our insurer. Refused to provide recording of calls when requested. I would advise anyone to avoid them. I will be making a complaint to our insurer and if that is also ignored I will be changing my insurer.

The worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. They ignore all communication and lie repeatedly. MoreThan actually told us to go to the ombudsman against themselves as they were unable to get them to do their jobs. If your insurance company tries to appoint them, run a mile for the sake of your mental health.

If I could provide less than 1 star then that still would be too complimentary of the service we have received from Questgates. Our claim as been on going now for 5 years and the level of incompetence shown by the two case handlers is comical. It is impossible to get hold of anyone on the phone and most of the emails you send go completely ignored.

We have spent literally hundreds of thousands of pounds due to recommendations from engineers and surveyors because of Questgates and still we are no further with having our issues rectified. We have opened a formal complaint against the way our claim has been handled and this has done nothing to speed things along.

We are now getting legal teams involved due to health conditions that the stress of this has caused as well as loss of earrnings.

Avoid Questgates at all costs!

Expected someone to visit the property on one day. Did not arrive. Telephoned to see where they were. Not in the diary. Booked for the next day between 9-12. Phoned again again as no show. Apparently now between 2pm and 3.30. Let's see if they show up today.
