Absolutely Horrendous Experience—Avoid at All Costs! GET A LAWYER if you have to deal with them!

I cannot stress enough how AWFUL my experience has been dealing with this company and their so-called “claims process.” After being the victim of a hit-and-run accident involving one of their U-Haul vehicles, I did everything right—immediately reporting the incident, providing detailed documentation, submitting photos of the damage, and even following their requested checklist of required materials. Despite my full cooperation, I have been met with nothing but dismissiveness, unprofessionalism, and outright negligence.

The claims adjuster I dealt with, Janelle, was condescending, accusatory, and completely unhelpful throughout this process. Instead of treating me like the victim of a hit-and-run, they acted as if I was inconveniencing them for expecting accountability. Their tone was beyond disrespectful, implying that I was at fault for not capturing live footage of the incident—because apparently, we’re all supposed to have cameras rolling 24/7 in case their drivers decide to flee the scene of an accident.

To make matters worse, when I followed up to check on my case, I was essentially gaslit and told that my documentation was insufficient—even though I submitted everything they requested. I even offered to pull red-light surveillance footage if needed, but it’s clear that this company is more invested in protecting their drivers and avoiding responsibility than in doing what’s right.

A quick look at this company’s terrible reviews and history of fraudulent behavior should tell you everything you need to know. It’s appalling that they are still in business after all the lawsuits and complaints. Based on my experience, their shady practices and complete lack of integrity are par for the course.

This company should be ashamed of how it treats people, especially those already dealing with the stress and trauma of an accident. If you are considering using their services—DON’T. RUN. THE OTHER WAY. And if you’re unfortunate enough to have to file a claim against them, prepare yourself for the fight of your life.

I will continue to pursue this case, escalate it further, and expose their behavior on every platform available. No one should have to endure this level of incompetence and disregard for the truth

Avoid Repwest Insurance at all costs. My parked car was hit by a U-Haul truck, and despite having clear evidence of the damage and submitting a legitimate claim, Repwest Insurance flat-out denied it. They claimed "no negligence" on the part of the driver, even though the driver was clearly at fault. Their investigation was sloppy at best and felt like they just took the driver’s word without any proper review of the facts.

To make matters worse, they completely ignored my follow-up when I asked for an explanation and reconsideration. This company seems more interested in protecting U-Haul drivers than actually handling claims fairly. If you're dealing with Repwest, don't expect professionalism or a fair resolution.

Cashless Racing

Do yourself a favor when a uhaual truck hits you're vehicle and get a attorney this company is very shady. Obviously by the reviews and ratings they do not care about you're safety, well being, vehicle or customer satisfaction. I've dealt with the same claims adjuster and had contact every day and calls until it was time to send out the check. For a vehicle with a broken tailight you think the company could do better. I want to give a special shout out to the one person that runs the total loss department as I don't have a clue why the company hires one person to do a job that is incompetent at there daily tasks. Maybe give them a raise or hire more people if they can't do the work. Thank you u haul and thank you rep west for absolutely the worst communication I have ever had to deal with a insurance company.

U-Haul should be embarrassed having this company representing them. My parked car was hit on 8/17/2024 and I’m still without a car or payment on 10/7/2024! I will be screaming from the mountaintops to not use U-Haul for anything due to horrible insurance coverage and poor customer service! People have choices and I highly recommend choosing any company that doesn’t use Repwest or affiliates of Repwest insurance.

They are insurance for U-Haul in our area. Had an accident with the U-Haul driver at fault. Trying to deal with them to pay for the claim has been maddening. Phone messages go nowhere, no way to get through to a real person, hours in the phone trying. Finally get through, no acknowledgment of messages. Lots of passive aggressive resistance. Emails are punctuation free and completely unprofessional. We will let GEICO fight them for money and use way more responsive people to find a good car repair shop.

Run away screaming and find a better insurance coverage place. This one isn’t it.

I am disgusted I am working with Brandon Hendrix never spoke to him on the phone. He dropped replying to my emails. I was hit while parked pumping gas my children in the car. He will not respond to the repair shop. I have called every supervisor no response no callback. My family could have died and yet they are acting like I am bothering them when all I need is my car fixed that their biggest uhaul hit. If cooperate is reading this do better because this is disgusting

These are the most unhelpful obnoxious uncooperative useless people I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with!!
It has been 4 weeks since our accident and they have given us the run around and used every dirty trick in the book to try and postpone paying our claim!!
Uhal and this insurance company are backhanded and definitely in bed together on delay after delay and dirty tactics to keep from paying in a timely manner!

My U-Box was involved in an accident in Arizona in early August. While Repwest was initially helpful, they have done nothing to help recover the U-Box. The box has now sat in a tow yard in Arizona for 5 WEEKS. U-Haul has yet to retrieve the pod and Repwest continues to have no updates.

Please pick up my pod and deliver it.
