Medicare and supplemental insurance can be incredibly complex and confusing. Justin Bro is an industry expert and can educate Seniors and Advocates in a matter of minutes. I took my 71 year old in-laws to a consultation with him today and we walked out in 45 minutes much smarter and excited for all the money my in-laws would be saving thanks to him! Justin was extremely friendly, funny, and didn’t try to sell us anything that wouldn’t benefit my in-laws. All retirees should see a Medicare specialist regularly, similar to shopping around for car insurance to have the best deal. In our opinion, Justin Bro is the best!

My wife and I have used Mark Molina of RIS for 9 years of Medicare Insurance. He had been very helpful. Mark called me 2 years ago and said that I should switch from UHC to BCBS supplemental because they offered a better price. It seemed like a good deal and he made the switch without any problems or actions on my part. About a year later, he suggested the same thing for my wife. Again, it sounded like a good idea and he said he would take care of it. He did switch her to BCBS, however he never told UHC to end the policy and never told us to stop the automated payments to UHC. As a result, both BCBS and UHC were both billing us for supplemental insurance for 7 months. We might have noticed it sooner, but my wife(who pays the bills) had to have brain surgery which left her unable to handle the billing any more.
I only noticed this error when doing my 2022 taxes.
I have gotten in touch with UHC and Mark Molina several times, but nothing has been resolved. UHC has billed us a total of $1857 while BCBS provided all my wife's supplemental billing.
This seems like a huge error on the part of Mark Molina. When I asked him about it, he said agents weren't allowed to cancel policies. If that were the case, he should have at least told us to cancel the automatic payments to UHC. We had no reason to think the UHC wasn't cancelled, because when he switched me over to BCBS, I didn't have to call UHC or cancel automatic payments to UHC. This is a warning to anyone using RIS, that you better keep an eye on your checkbook, before something like this happens to you.

I have all the confidence in Justin when I call and discuss what prescriptions I shall be purchasing for the next year and the best Part of Medicare I should be purchasing as well as the supplemental insurance. Mark Molina was extremely patient with my many questions concerning my choices for the best way to cover my Medicare benefits. He continued to rephrase the answer in whatever way he could until I totally understood, even to drawing me pictures with arrows! He has been available to answer any other questions as they have come up, and has always treated me with the utmost respect and kindness.

Been with them since I retired, first found them 3 years prior. I knew insurance coverage would be my biggest retirement decision. Justin Bro helped in that decision immensely. I now have great coverage with traditional Medicare and a supplement. Also a low cost prescription drug plan. I would recommend talking with R.I.S. to develop a plan that best suits you. Not a cookie cutter approach.

I really appreciate the one-on-one time Mark has given me with choosing the Medicare Plan that works best for me.
