Through a mistake of my own, I ended up discovering the Advantage Plan I was on had been discontinued in January. I went into panic mode, SS said I was out of luck and searched for a local office. Luckily, I found Rocky Mountain Medicare and Carrie. One phone call and I was confident in her ability to help. She got me in for an office visit right away and has a neat set up where you can see the screen as she compares plans. Plus, she is an extremely nice person. It was worth going through the nightmare to discover there is help out there choosing Medicare plans and having your choices explained. I wish I knew about her services when I first got onto Medicare, as it is a bit hard to navigate when you are coming from employment provided health care. I highly recommend setting up a visit with Carrie!
