Called to leave a message with my tax lady about some questions and was told that “we don’t have time for this” and they proceed to hang up on me and they tend to do more for you when you’ve known them for years but not when your freshly starting with them which is sketchy all on its own

If I could give 0 stars I would! Do not use this place! I normally don’t give reviews, but I feel compelled to in order to keep others from experiencing this. Our personal and business taxes were completely messed up and they have not attempted to make any of it right even after paying for the service. To my understanding, Cody is not a CPA. He botched our stuff and we are having to pay and jump through hoops to have it corrected. Terrible experience and terrible service. The receptionist is rude and not knowledgeable about anything related to this business.

I dropped off my W2 in early april, knowing i was close to the deadline I asked them if my taxes could be filed before then- they told me yes. One mine has passed- after a phone call I was told that they could not file my taxes due to being short staffed and faking behind and that an extension was filed. I told them it was fine and that i was okay with that. Three months later in July I called to ask about my updates and I was told “your taxes will be filed by this Friday”
The next week, I called again for an update to get told the same line. I got told this two more weeks in a row for a total of four weeks. I received a phone call on 08/25 telling me that my taxes are done.
FOUR MONTHS.
It took this business four months to process me taxes, AFTER I asked if they could process my taxes on time. I received no phone calls, no notices the whole time period. Instead I was told a generic line every time that I called as to why my taxes have not been processed. theres no professionalism or accountability in this establishment.
Not once has anyone expressed any sort of apologies to me for taking four months to do the job that I should not have paid them for at the end of this.
With the experience I have had here I’m sure I could’ve had a better experience by dropping my taxes off at the Jackson Hewitt table at the van buren Walmart and getting food poisoning from the sub par Chinese buffet across the street.
