They set me up with a fly by night insurance company, I thought what the heck I'm avoiding the large increases from my major carrier. That is until my home got damaged over the summer from a storm. This small carrier took forever, my home was damaged in July, I didn't get a check until the end of October, I was not comfortable getting a roof replacement or siding repair in the cold months as things become brittle and asphalt shingles won't adhere properly, come march I get a notice that this company is pulling out of Missouri effective April. Then Krista from this office emails me and says I need to close this claim because no homeowners insurance carriers will cover me with an open claim. So I start getting estimates to get my home repaired, the insurance company was low on all of their estimates and are nickle and diming me on every little thing, the contractors say if you are having trouble reach out to your agent and get them involved. I email Krista asking for help in resolving this issue, she says I need to contact the adjuster and reiterates that I need to get this closed because come two weeks I won't have homeowners insurance. I reached out to an agent at another company, he was able to find me coverage that day with a major carrier with better coverage at a slight increase.

I understand this office didn't know that the company they sold me was going to pull out. My major complaint is their lack of ownership of the situation and the unwillingness to help.
