We started working with Russell and his team after we were in contract and a big bank already failed to secure our loan. Our agent introduced Russell and said he’s a “magician” and can fix difficult situations. After a first phone call with him, we already felt a lot more at ease, and he assured us he can get us a loan if we’re flexible with rates and fees.

Got a HELOC to finance a home remodel through Russ who was referred to me through my financial advisor. I had gone rate shopping and didn't think anyone could beat a rate I had found but Russ did! Even with his fees, working out the math, he was going to end up with the lowest cost solution given my situation and needs. Process took longer than I initially expected but he warned me of that and my project(s) have been slow to get going so all good!

The only thing I will bring up is that the secure site that Russ uses to upload all the documents needed to apply for the loan, for some reason, couldn't be bookmarked for easy access as requests came in for additional documentation. I would get an error code and then I would have to hunt down Russ' email that had the link. I'm using Chrome as my web browser but I don't think that was the issue.

Good communication and timely responses to questions. Not much more is needed for what is still a painful process, ie home related loans of any kind!
