I'm going to have to agree with everyone else and say the process they use for handling claims is exhausting to say the least. There are so many better companies out there these days we need to do better for our communities and kick these people out. Should not have to be so difficult to get time off from work in a country that prioritizes working your life away. Pathetic

I feel this company needs a new leader for their supposite model of taking care of the injured IS SO FALSE . LET ME BEGIN BY AAYING MY NAME IS TERESA MICHAEL AT THE TIME I WAS AS AN EMPLOYEE OF 7-11 INC. AS A MANANGER FOR AROUND 23 YEARS IT WAS A GROCERY DELIVERY DAY AT MY STORE THERE WERE GALLON CASES OF WATER ON THE SALES FLOOR SO I PROCEEDED TO PLACE THEM ON A DOLLY TO TRANSFER THEM FROM THE SALES AREA SO AS TO NO CUSTOMERS TRIPPING OR FALLING OVER SO THESE EXTRA CASES WERE TO BE STORED FROM A CUSTOMER ACCIDENTLY INJURING OR FALLING OVER TO STORE IN THE BACKROOM AND WE STOCK THE SHELVES AS NEEDED. I WEIGHED ONLY 105LBS AT THE TIME AND PETITE 4-11 WAS MY HEITH.AS I HAD DID THIS MANY TIMES BUT I JUST TURNED 50YRS OLD 5 MONTHS PRIOR I WOULD LIFT THESE 6 GALLON PER CASE OF WATER SWINGING MY WHOLE BODY TO MY RIGHT LEG A PLACING THEM ON THE DOLLY AS I SWUNG TO MY RIGHT LEG WITH THE 3RD CASE THERE WAS A POP SOUND AND THIS RIGHT HIP OR AS I STATED LOWER RIGHT BACK BEGAN TO HURT HERE IT IS EVEN THOUGH I WAS TOLD BY A DOCTOR THAT THERE IS ALOT GOING ON IN MY BACK WHICH I WASN'T COMPLAINING ABOUT MY WHOLE BACK JUST MY LOWER RIGHT BACK /BUT AREA BUT ORLANDO ORTHO. DR. GULL MUST OF USED WORKMANS COMP.X-RAYS PLACED A PLATE AND 2 SCREWS AS A DISC REPLACEMENT WITH THIS NEW WAY WHERE HE USED A CAMERS AND A CLIPPER LIKE TOOL WHERE THERE WAS LESS BLEEDING AND NO EXTENSIVE STICHES NEEEDED BUT AS THE WEEK WENT ON THE EXTREME PAIN IN THE SAME AREA WAS THERE AN EMPLOYEE AT ORLANDO ORTHO SAID I AM MAKING THEM LOOK BAD WHICH WAS NOT MY INTENTION I EVEN ASKED DOCTOR GULL IF HE WAS SURE IT WASN'T MY HIP RIGHT AWAY WITHNO X-RAY OR MRI HE STATED NO AND ALSO ASKED ME WHY SEDWICK KEPT SENDING ME BACK TO HIM AT LEAST 3 OR 4 EXTRA VISITS WITH NOTHING DONE
SO HERE I AM ALMOST 20 YRS LATER COME JULY 12 WILL BE 20 YEARS OF PAIN AND SUFFERING COME TO FIND MY BURSA SACK WAS LEAKING AND NOW MY HIP AREA IS NOW BONE RUBBING AGAINST BONE AND SEDGEWICK CLAIMS PEOPLE I HAVE NAMES AND DO NOT HAVE A DOCTORET DEGREE STAT THIS DID NOT HAPPEN WITH ME LIFTING AND SWING ALL MY WEIGHT PLUS THE 6GALLON WATER CASES TO MY RIGHT LEG AND PLACING THEM ON ADOLLY. I'LL DARE YOU SEDGEWICK CLAIMS AND HOW YOU TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYES PLURANL TO DENY AN INDIVIDUAL IN THIS CONTINUAL PAIN DAILY WHERE IT IS EVEN DIFFICULT FOR ME TO EVEN TAKE ABOUT 10 TO 15 STEPS TO EVEN GO TO THE RESTROOM YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE INHUMAN AND THEY MAY SAVE YOU MONEY AS A COMPANY BUT I HAVE NEVER BEEN INVOLVED IN SUCH HUMANE PRACTICE AND I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY YOU ARE STILL IN BUSINESS. IF I HAVE MY WAY WHEN AND IF I DIE LIKE YOUR PEOPLE AND COMPANY WISH I WILL HAVE PEOPLE COME AFTER YOU ALL LEGALLY FOR YOUR MISTREATMENT FOR THIS TREATMENT I GET FROM YOU AS A COMPANY WILL NOT STOP WHEN AND IF I PASS. LIKE I SAID TO THE SHERIF DEPT. I BELIEVE IN CARMA FOR THE MISTREATMENT AND WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND. Would give a negative 10 if I could, they truly donโ€™t care about anyone well being or life situation absolutely a bottom of the barrel company getting them to respond is a task in itself they drag their feet on everything. I hope everyone that works for experience the same type of service so they a better understanding you shouldnโ€™t play with people lively hood. I was involved in a claim with Tire Kingdom who turned me over to this company as their 3rd party agency. I was assigned a Liability Claims Rep who is very unresponsive. The claim was made on 3-29-2023 and I contacted them several times via email,phone,webiste and nothing until 4-6-2023 which only was a note stating they received everything and would be in touch. I have called, emailed, and wrote messages on the communication center and not 1 response or update in 8 business days. This was a claim with a vehicle and i have been without it since and no communication or expectations have been set. The lack of communication and information is unreal to me and I hope nobody would have to deal with this type of service from a company.

I have had been sending documents for claims from doctors regularly. I had my claim terminated despite the documentation being sent at the appropriate time. It was acknowledged by a claims customer representative prior to the termination that they did receive the information and someone would review it shortly. That was at 5 weeks without the scheduled payment. The claim was then terminated. When I called again to ask why that was, the customer representative stated that no one reviewed the information again and that was the reason for terminating the claim. Because of that, it has been over 7 weeks without a payment. The customer representative stated that she could not help, and would put in a note for someone to review the information next week. When asked for an estimated time to get approval she said she couldn't give that. I understand that things happen, but it seems very odd that they would just terminate the plan when they have actual documentation stating my return-to-work date.

Worthless! I was involved in a accident with one of their policy holders. Not sure what their Department Of Motor Vehicles state in Florida about once you're in a dedicated lane with a solid "WHITE line" and their policy holder makes a unsafe lane change causing a accident! But in California it states its prohibited. Then to have their Claim Adjuster Melvin Jermin deny my claim! Even though with pictures to show proof of the positions of the vehicles that their policy holder was clearly at fault! This individual Jermin needs to educate himself with rules from other states before denying claims!
