This is the perfect hideaway in the trees! About 5 minutes drive from downtown Skagway, this fabulous property has a truly charming collection of cabins nestled gently in the woods with lovely views of the mountains. The cabins are well-equipped with every essential I would expect to find in any hotel, and all of the necessary items to have a mug of coffee, tea, or cocoa on the porch. The host, Nan, is an absolute gem. We were a last-minute arrival, and a friend of hers in town saw that we were struggling to find somewhere to stay, and immediately thought of Nan and her bungalows. I am deeply glad and grateful for the hospitality. Nan provided excellent, clear directions to find the property, generously set up a futon for my father and I to enjoy the cabin together in separate beds, and took great care to make sure we were settled, comfortable, and knew how to find her if any needs arose. We were both delighted by the artwork, the comfort of the beds, the coziness of the cabin, and the loveliness of being in the forest. It feels like the best kind of treehouse. I can’t say enough good things about Nan and the Skagway Bungalows. This will be our first choice for any return to Skagway!

Nan was an incredible host! She had great local food recommendations, offered us a ride to the airport, and helped us find local fun things to do! The cabin itself is your typical cabin. It has all the essentials you'll need (coffee, fridge, microwave, etc). The bed is cozy and warm, the bathroom is large and the porch is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy a book.

If we're ever back in Skagway we will be calling Nan to see if there's a vacancy in one of the cabins.
