I called Steve after I called my insurance agent to get someone else on my side of my claim. Steve immediately provided recommendations and feedback on the process of insurance claims. We work to get a contract executed and went to work together within a couple days. Steve was there the day the insurance adjuster came to the house to review the damage and supported me through out the claim. With Steve's diligence and detail we were able to significantly increase the value of the claim from the insurance company adjusters original estimates. This was my first major insurance claim, I'm glad I had Steve on my team supporting me. I would definitely recommend Steve / SMG and would not hesitate to call him if I ever had the need again.

I had a wonderful experience with Steve from SMG Claims. He truly went above and beyond. He handled everything from start to finish with my insurance company and advocated for me and got them to pay for my repairs after my dishwasher leaked and ruined my kitchen and part of my living room. Without his assistance, I would’ve been stuck replacing everything out of pocket. If I ever need to file an insurance claim again, Steve will be the first person I call.

We had a leak in the wall from pipes that soaked our floor and ruined the insulation in our crawlspace. The plumbers had to cut holes in both our living room and bathroom walls to fix a leaking pipe. The remediation company took care of the initial water damage and referred us to an attorney specializing in insurance claims - Steve Mullins. We were very impressed with his knowledge of the insurance business and how claims work. He was friendly, forthright, and very knowledgeable. He contacted the insurance company, met with reconstruction companies, and dealt with the insurance adjuster assigned to our claim. He was very proactive and responsive whenever we had questions and personally handled all contact with the insurance company. Steve Mullins' professionalism, integrity, technical expertise, knowledge of applicable laws, and customer service were top-notch. Steve negotiated firmly, yet professionally, with the insurance company's adjuster to get him to amend an insulting low-ball offer to a more reasonable one. For example, the insurance company's initial offer to replace, repair, and paint drywall damage was around $3! The entire process took three months due to the holidays and the insurance company's lack of cooperation. The result was well worth the wait, and Steve's help was invaluable and much appreciated. We highly recommend Steve and his company to anyone who is dealing with an insurance claim.

I can’t say enough of how amazing Steve has been for myself and husband. In February 2021, we had a small house fire from our dryer. I thought the process with insurance would be simple, considering there was minimal physical damage. However, our insurance company made every task difficult and complicated.
