If I could give zero stars, I certainly would. Until fall of 2023, I'd have given him ten stars because he had been extremely helpful and informative in all our insurance needs. UNTIL last fall when he "forgot" to update our information and our policies were canceled. Even after phone conversations with him guaranteeing he would get it updated prior to the cancelation date. He informed me he was going through some personal issues, another divorce (2nd or 3rd) due to his infidelity and drinking problem. I listened at the time because I felt he was venting due to being upset and didn't think it would end up impacting us financially. Our policies ended up being canceled, we attempted to contact Spencer via phone, text and email however he ignored every attempt. We got a new agent, reinstated our policies and even now, his screw ups are still haunting us as one of our vehicles was being "held" under his name in billing somehow and the proper payment amounts weren't being taken out. Now, ten months later, State Farm automatically withdrew almost $700 for HIS screw up and he's refusing to make it right. Insurance agents have coverage for things like this and if he were a stand up person that we all thought he was until last year, he would own it and make it right. However even as recently as this last week, he is ignoring my emails. I wouldn't use Spencer Ruyle for anything even if my life depended on it. I've been a State Farm customer for 26 years and my mother was a customer all of her adult life as well. This has made me seriously reconsider whether State Farm is best for me. If you're a current customer of his, you might want to check to make sure you too weren't screwed. Literally or figuratively.

Really great experience with Spencer. He insures several properties of mine and the service is great. You can text or call him and he is very responsive and honest. He will tell you if a competitor has a better policy which they usually don't, but has happened on some occasions. This gained a lot of trust with me. The umbrella he provided was a 1/3 of the cost of my other quotes. Always worth your time dealing with him and he is SO easy to get ahold of. Really glad I was referred to him.

Spencer was kind and informative when setting up my insurance. He didn't try to sell me extra but explained the coverage options so that I was getting exactly what I wanted. He is always quick to respond to any questions or concerns I have and the other staff members are friendly and helpful as well.

He's a great agent. Answers all emails within a couple hours generally unless busy. Always available to help me with questions regarding my policy. Answers all phone calls as well, if not busy, which of course is understandable given he serves a ton of clients. Satisfied with their agency. Highly recommended.
