I was contacted by Aaron with Standard Roofing back in December. I’m not sure if it was because of my review or what. Even though he wasn’t with the company when all the bad happened he made it his priority to fix their mistakes! If we were to ever deal with Standard Roofing again Aaron would be my go to! He knows what he’s talking about. He listened to my issues from the day he contacted me and did what he could do to fix it. The work looks like it should. I hate that it took over a year to get it right, but thankful for Aaron!

When we first made contact everything seemed to be going great. Then it was like maybe they realized they weren’t going to make much from our roof repair so it felt like we were put on the back burner. Last November we had a small tornado come through and a tree landed on the back corner of our house. What should have been a 2 day job at most took months! And it still didn’t get completely finished but I gave up trying to get them out here. They started fixing our roof at the end of December in 2022. February of this year I was still trying to get them out here to fix the pipe boot. Multiple texts back and forth and phone calls did no good. We clearly weren’t a priority. The issues we had were ridiculous and shouldn’t have happened. First they put on brown shingles when our roof is a dark slate almost black. I was basically told that’s my only option until I called and made a complaint and they saw how awful it looked. Then we had a worker put his foot through my ceiling and not even come knock on our door to tell us. So then we had to make sure to be home for someone to be able to work on that fix a couple of times. I realized when they were “done” that we had tons of material just left here. Material that we were being charged for that they weren’t actually using on this job. They told me they were going to come pick it up and I told them I wanted a credit on what they took back then. I’m not paying for material for them to take and use on other jobs. They took the material and gave us a small credit, in my opinion it was probably half of what that stuff was worth. I priced it! After they “fixed” our roof, gutters, and soffit we ended up having a leak where the tree had landed. They did a temp fix with silicone to keep the rain from dripping inside our wall and I was told they would come back to put a pipe boot on. Weeks went by and nothing! I was told they’d come out but never set a day and time. I was done! It’s been a year and it still makes me sick to my stomach looking at their crappy repair job. We have a hole where there should be soffit, gutter missing silicone and not even attached to our house. Nails sticking out in plain site! It’s awful! My husband and I could have done a better job! They want payment for their crappy work and I refuse to pay them until it’s done. No one has even came out to look at the awful work that was done. Send me to collections that’s fine but I’ll keep letting everyone know and see the awful job. Don’t do business with them unless you want to be put on the back burner and a crappy “repair” job!

Aaron came by to inspect our roof. He went up on the roof but found nothing that needed repair. He took more than 60 photos and provided a thorough report. Very professional! I recommend having an inspection so you will know the condition of your roof. Aaron won’t try to sell you something if you don’t need it. Honest, trustworthy and highly recommended.

Aaron came out and performed a very thorough inspection on my roof. He was there inspecting for a very long time, and I received the most detailed roof inspection I’ve ever received. Roofers don’t always have the best reputation, but Aaron and his company are full of integrity. He will never push you into anything you don’t feel comfortable with. I highly recommend him and his company.

Couldn't be happier with our experience with Standard. Big hail storm took out our roof a month ago and out of many options, we went with Standard for replacement of the roof and gutters. The Project Manager, Joseph, personally inspected our roof and covered the worst of the dents and holes with temporary covering to protect us the week before the roof was to be installed (and thank God, because it rained buckets that week.) It was clear on meeting him that he knew what he was talking about, so we had total confidence in him, and our trust turned out to be well-placed. We wanted to upgrade to a Class IV shingle and couldn't get an exact color match to our existing shingle, so he picked out something that looks even better (and we've gotten compliments!) We had a leak prior to the hailstorm that another roofing company couldn't seem to figure out how to fix after multiple tries, and Joseph not only pinpointed the problem on his first inspection but made sure it was done correctly during the install, so...no more leak, yay. Joseph is honest, easy to work with, extremely responsive, and kept us updated and in the loop through the whole process. He made things easy for us by explaining everything, working directly with our insurance company, and just generally taking all the stress and worry of roof replacement off of us. The quality of the work is top notch, both the roof and the gutters. Highly recommend.

Had Aaron come out for an inspection recently and I was very impressed. He took time to explain in detail what he found and what needed to be done, if anything. He found a lot of things, but they were all very minimal and even told me he wouldn't recommend any work to be done right now. Most roofers will try to sell you whether you need something done or not and Aaron DID NOT. He was very transparent and informative! Going forward, I believe Aaron and his team will be transparent and honest about my roofing/gutter needs.
