I have tried multiple times to call Mr. Bates to get a quote as a new customer and not once have I gotten a phone call back nor a message from him or anyone in this agency. I even physically stopped by this office three times . . . and for two weeks it has had the same poster board message that he is “temporarily” out of the office Thank heavens he is not my agent if this is how easy it is to get ahold of him! He will not return your phone calls. Unless Mr. Bobby Bates is in the hospital or otherwise disposed, I would imagine this is the kind of professional behaviour you can expect from this third generation independent insurance agent. Forewarned is forearmed!!!

This is not a good agency to use. I called on 11/5/24 requesting a call about a letter I received in the mail about dropping home owners in 1/2025. Still waiting for a return call. Bought a new car 12/26/24. I have called every day to get new coverage. Still no call back. People that answer the phone are nice. Never had this problem with State Farm. Will be dropping Sterling Peaks.
