Before Hurricane Ian devastated our Florida home, We'd never heard of a Public Adjuster, but after dealing with an unresponsive insurance agent and insurance company when we were looking for assistance after the storm, We knew we needed someone to help with the recovery process.

After much internet research, we discovered that public adjusters were "a thing," and that we desperately needed to find one. Some additional research led us to Mike Keeler and The Claim Squad. After watching his YouTube videos, we knew that he was the person to help us.

To say he was a godsend and that we could not have made it through the recovery process without him is an understatement. He was a guiding light through the long, dark tunnel of our recovery and dealing with our insurance company.

This was our first experience with hurricane damage. When we were finally able to view our storm-damaged home, about a week after the storm, we felt very helpless and heartbroken. It was damaged beyond our imagination.

We were abe to file an insurance claim online, but, beyond that, we received no guidance or communication from our insurance company or agent. They were unreachable. We had no idea what to do.

Mike was with us every step of the way, through the long process of getting the insurance company to admit that our home was severely damaged. Mike predicted that they would underestimate our damage and try to underpay our claim, in the hope that we would accept their "lowball" offer and walk away.

Fortunately, Mike had the experience to understand these insurance company tactics and the courage and understanding to fight them and advocate for a fair settlement.

Based on the insurance company's reluctance to be fair, Mike recommended that we go through the Appraisal Process. He successfully represented our case to the "umpire," who ultimately decided in our favor and awarded us a settlement that was representative of the damage we incurred.

After a long seven month process, we finally received our fair settlement and can now put this devastating event behind us.
