I’ve been following JT and Thornton Financial LLC for several years and have referred multiple family members to him during that time. Most recently, my mother was dealing with some issues related to her taxes, and I knew she needed a true professional. I had no hesitation recommending JT.

She set an appointment, and I went with her for support. We met JT at his downtown office—he was taller than I expected! As an insurance agent myself, we ended up in a passionate debate about whole life insurance, and I’ll admit, he got the best of me with his perspective. It was all in good spirit and showed just how sharp and knowledgeable he is.

JT was able to clearly break things down for my mom, resolve her tax concerns, and gave her a solid plan moving forward. I’ve been a longtime fan of his financial commentary on social media, but experiencing his professionalism and care in person—especially with my mom—meant everything.

Jayson is a class act. He is a master teacher. Any question you present, he will break it down to first principles. Also the team he has is very pleasant and kind. I had to call the front desk to get help with my setup and on both occasions the ladies were very helpful and patient.

Jayson Thornton is the best! I am a attorney who originally had Clayton, MO firm Hauk Krause & Assoc. do my returns. They totally had me overpaying taxes. Thanks to Jayson Thornton, I just got a $20, 000 refund from 2017 for overpayment on the sale of my building because H&K did not know how to deduct properly.

I would have never known about this until my new Accountant Jayson Thornton reviewed their returns and was shocked by what he saw. H&K accounting firm did just the bare minimum with no regard for the taxpayer or how they can avoid paying more than their fare share. Thank goodness I found Jayson Thornton and his firm, not too big to care and always willing to meet me at my office if I have questions or concerns and very reasonably priced (less than 1/2 what H&K charged) Jayson Thornton is the best! (and a good family man as well)
