It has taken almost 3 months to resolve an issue where I was being overcharged. I transferred my car insurance here from out of state (I was with State Farm there too) two years ago, and an item was miscalculated in my new quote.

The premium seemed high and they insisted it was correct. I called several more times over a year asking them to look at it, and finally found the error myself (they put the incorrect years of driving experience). There was a lot of push back on their end initially to even investigate the matter.

I was given every excuse from Vianney about why my premium was so high other than just investigating if they made any errors, while she simultaneously tried to get me to sign up for additional insurance policies. They finally looked into it and acknowledged it was an error on their part in May. I am still following up on a missing credit on my account in July.

This office consistently drops the ball on getting my refund applied to my account, and blames the corporate underwriting and billing offices. No one in the office is following up on this issue unless I call to remind them. The State Farm agent herself, Tracy, has failed to call me on the only two occasions I was promised a time she’d reach out to me.

I am so incredibly frustrated and disappointed with how I’m being treated at this office compared to my last one. I never had an issue with State Farm until now. At this point I’ve put in a transfer request to another nearby office, as I trust them more to resolve this credit issue.

Taking 3 months to resolve their own error is poor customer service.
