I found this company to be very nice and professional when selling, but just the opposite after the sale. I recommend that you scrutinize this company's tactics very closely. They took my money immediately then made me fight for a refund since I decided not to pursue the warranty coverage during the evaluation period. In fact, after almost eight weeks without receiving my refund I had to file a dispute with my credit card provider. They flat-out lied to me (twice) about how the process would work. I recommend avoiding this company.

Called to cancel policy because no longer needed coverage on vehicle. Was told had to write a cancellation letter along with the verification of mileage on vehicle. Did this mailed to US DIrect Protect. When I called back was told never received letter. Sent the letter again by Certified Mail. Have tried to reach the company on numerous occasions, put on hold and can't get through to anyone. Please don't use this company for extended warranty service on your vehicle. You will be sorry. I am going to contact the Attorney General's office to file a complaint against them. They owe us a refund and will probably have a very difficult time collecting when they won't answer their phone.

It was a 10 year customer and renewed my policy, they failed to add the technology package to my new policy despite selling it as "ultimate" with technology. Manager was extremely rude and told me there was nothing I could do, he said he would sell me and new policy with the technology package for the same price but would not recognize the current problem with my navigation package, I was LEFT to pay a huge bill.I will never used them again and would advise you not to either.

I received the worst customer service today by a US Direct customer service rep. I don't know gentleman name however he needs to be retrained completely. This rep began to lecture and ridicule me concerning life lessons when I asked only for him to cancel my service on my 2015 Escalade. I told him I appreciated the life coaching but I am a federal employee and also a combat veteran so I think I would be ok! To make a long story short I called again to speak with a supervisor Maria Tyrpin who was extremely professional and helpful, she apologized for the unprofessional customer service I experienced and ensured she
would get to the bottom of it.

They gave me the run around for two months when I was cancelling my useless warranty. I finally lost it, however, when I called to ask about my refund check that was two weeks overdue and the customer service representative told me to look up the definition of a word in the question I asked. He said I obviously couldn’t understand what he was saying so I should just look it up and then he hung up on me! I wish I could give a zero rating.

Representatives are dishonest with you about policy prices. Quote a cheap monthly rate, then hand off your account to a third party collector and send you a bill for a higher rate (in my case 4 times the amount I was quoted). Rude and unprofessional on the phone. These are just sales people who are out to take your money and use scare tactics to trick you into getting a policy. Avoid at all costs.
