I will try to stick to the facts here, because I am boiling mad as I write this review.
In early February of this year I submitted the paperwork to have my taxes done by this company. Over two months later, today, April 13 (a few days before the tax deadline), I received a call from one of the associates, Debbie, who was asking questions about my tax return. I replied that I don’t know those answers, and that’s why I hired them. The question revolved around state reciprocity agreements; something I know nothing about, but assume real CPAs do. I then asked why my return was taking over eight weeks to finish. She replied that they were understaffed. I then asked if there was any additional paperwork they needed. She replied no, they had everything they needed, but wanted to file an extension because they were so busy. But what was I to do? I had no choice but to schedule a meeting with the main person , James Vargas, next week, well after tax due date. This I did.
A short time later I received communication that they were now refusing to do my taxes, and should get a different account. All this happened today, a few days before tax deadline.
This is incredible. This is complete incompetence and non-professionalism at its best.
I am sure that they will have some nice tidy little response saying bad things about me, but it is not true. I just wanted my damn taxes done on time. But because I had the audacity to ask a few questions, they essentially fired me. I was not rude or anything like that; I was just intent on getting my taxes done as they had promised me.
I have no choice but to file multiple complaints with the regulatory boards. Sorry it had to come to this.
So if you are considering an accountant in this area, think twice. Heck, think five times before you choose this company.

I am very disappointed in the lack of support and understanding in my situation. I discussed my plans to relocate based on my job and the fact that I was not going to be in Arizona for long yet the CPA went ahead and requested my income tax refund via check in the mail. I am now worried about getting my refund and when I called to get clarification the CPA could not have been more indifferent. Thanks a lot, for all of the unnecessary worry.
