I was scheduled a court date for 6.14.22. I drove 3.5 hours and ended up having to reschedule bc the police department wasn’t able to serve the defendant after trying 3 times. I didn’t receive a letter in mail or phone call in regards to the defendant not being able to get serve. So I basically wasted money, gas and time. They said I could have called to see if she was serve. I thought after all the money I paid, they would have at least told me before taking the drive.

I find it odd that I'm writing a review for a courthouse. There are so many reasons not to. It's beneath the dignity of the court for one. And I'm not a lawyer or an employee of the court system, so that only leaves one other option :-/ (hint: This is where Wake County Traffic Court used to be held). ANYWAY, this is not a review of legal matters, because that would be just silly. I just wanted to say that while the facility itself rates an aging and drab municipal three (3) stars, I give 5 stars to my various interactions with the folks who work there. I have always been treated courteously. Clerks and other administrative staff have patiently answered my questions and explained forms, procedures etc. The security staff wand you politely when you set off the metal detector. Various officers and sheriffs and bailiffs have seen me looking lost and given me directions. DA's and judges return the respect you show them. Heck, even the cashiers have laughed at my stupid jokes, taking some of the sting out of settling up. The best "customer service" that I hope I never have to experience again 🙂 !

Absolutely horrible people. They make you write 4 copies of a form rather than make copies for you (because "everything costs money"), and because it took me so long to do one form 4 times (I have nerve damage in my hands), they threw me out promptly at 4:59. They didn't say anything like "You need to be done in 5 minutes or we're leaving". I told them I would have gladly paid for copies to be made. They wouldn't do it. I even told one clerk that I had one line left to write. He said, "The hours are clearly posted, come back tomorrow." and walked out.
Awful people, seriously.

I filed a small claims summons, they gave me a date on a Saturday. I showed up, and they were closed. I called Monday and they told me my case had been dismissed that very morning. Not sure why they wouldn’t give me the right date.

Small claims, I do believe room 116 off to the corner of the 1st floor of the courthouse near elevators. I completed my small claims forms via online and the printer didn't print out the backside of the complaint form " my first time filing these forms out and I didn't notice" , everything else came out just fine. All was filled out completely before I arrived at the stated location. I got called up by this very unprofessional woman mid to late 50s I'm guessing, which there was only 1 small claims staff on December 3 2018 around 10am. Spoke rudely about the copies that didn't print out "which didn't need to be filled out either" that I should have included them. As well, the "service act relief form" which was completely filled out as well notarized she complained that I shouldn't put "I dont know " for an answer which clearly wasnt written on the form! When I asked "where did I write I don't know on the form" for my response She held her unprofessional head down then looked up at me and said " well if you don't state how you know the individual on the form then that's like writing down I dont know "?!?! But said it in a calmer tone. Lmbo, I just shook my head. She's actually getting paid our hard earned tax $$ to speak that foolish?!🤔 smh, very sad that people like her actually still have a job, what the county/state need to start making mandatory is that every 3 months staff members must go through " a professional behavior skills class "!😉 Just remember this RUDE ONES... if it wasn't for the public taking their time to file these small claims YOU WOULDN'T HAVE A JOB!! Be kind, patient, and most importantly thankful that the public
continues to help provide a pay check coming into your bank institution! Get it together or leave your job if you dont no how to deal with the public in a kind professional manner. It's really not that hard. I do pray for this individual, as she can cause alot more people stress than Peace and it shouldn't be that way.

Called in for some information on how to go about filing a small claims case. The receptionist was extremely rude and cut me off while i was trying to explain my concern. She told me just to download the paper work and read the instructions almost as if i was interrupting her from doing something more important. My suggestion is hire people who actually like there Job!

The young man at the counter is always explaining things in a condescending manner. It comes off belittling. The staff is also always chattering about things on the side, mostly complaining of process changes and things that fall under their job description. It’s a very unprofessional atmosphere when trying to conduct business.
