I rented a property from Walker & Associates for 2 1/2 years, from June 2013 through December 2015. My experience with them was fantastic and their handling of me as a client was very caring and professional. In the event I had some sort of maintenance request, someone was sent out right away and the issue taken care of - usually within hours.

At dawn on a Sunday, I had an emergency maintenance issue which resulted in my water service being turned off. I called their office, left a message, and W&A promptly returned my call and offered to put me up in a hotel in the event they weren’t able to address the problem in a timely manner. Needless to say, they dispatched a plumber who was able to get my water problem sorted out by 8am that morning. Truly amazing service.

In my experience, you barely know they’re there until you need them. My experience with W&A was totally hassle-free and professional. Never once did they increase my rent, and I really enjoyed the convenience of being able to use their online portal for my automatic monthly payments. Should I ever be in need of a rental property in the Santa Maria area, I wouldn’t hesitate to rent from W&A.

Walker & Associates have provided me and my wife excellent property management services. They are very good in managing our rental properties. They maintain a good working relationship with us by providing timely monthly reports and address all tenant issues in a timely manner. They are deliberate and decisive in their property management decisions, which means that problems are solved promptly and correctly. Yet they are very patient with us in explaining the details of a tenant issue or property situation and listening to our questions. They screen for high qualified renters for our investment homes to prevent future tenant issues. Their rental collection system provides me timely and predictable rental income.
Their subcontractors perform good and reliable repair work when something needs fixing or replacement. The subcontractors are easy to address, and very friendly both to me and to the tenants. Their estimates are reasonable. They finish the projects in a timely manner, which is a blessing for the tenants!
Matt's extensive property management experiences have provided me with valuable protection for the safety of my real estate investments. Whether we are in town or out of the state of California, we have "peace of mind" knowing confidently that Matt Walker & his team will be able to handle any tenant issues or property issues with our real estate investments.
In the past years, I have recommended Walker's services to several people (friends and neighbors), and will continue to highly recommend their services to people who have rental homes. We are glad to have Matt and his associates on our "team".

Walker has been managing our home for over 4 years now. We have consistently been impressed with the quality of property management we receive. I have been in a rental SFR managed by Walker & Associates for 3 years now, and I have been very happy with the service they provide when there are issues. They have a high level of professionalism, combined with warm and personable staff, including the sub-contractors they use for things like plumbing (Matt's Plumbing is the BEST).

Walker & Associates is a name I will look for in future if I ever need move. But I hope to stay in this property for a long time to come...especially because I'm so pleased with the management.

We have rented with Walker & associates for 5 years. Only reason we are leaving is because we are moving out of the city. It’s was perfect timing. The owner that they rented to us for, sold the place. We are glad it worked out this way. The new owners raised the rent by $400, so bye!
Anyway. This company is very professional. When we applied they got us in right away! Clean agreement that made sense. Walker & associates always answered or returned our calls. They’re so friendly and helpful. Anytime we had a problem , we could email or call. Literally the next day they’d send either Matt or John (with a heads up of course) and they are so cool. Very friendly, thorough and professional! When we were running late on our rent a couple times, they would call to remind us so we wouldn’t get a fee. Paying online was a great feature also. We are really hoping when we move we can find a property management place that will meet this level of awesomeness. Bye, we will miss you guys!

Matt and Marlena were simply amazing to work with! Both were extremely knowledgeable and efficient. They came up with a plan for our situation and executed it to perfection. Not only did they get us into exactly the house we were looking for, but also were able to turn around and help us sell ours in the short amount of time that we had. They'll be our only call from now on!

THIS IS THE WORST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY EVER! DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY. these people will scam you! there looking for illegals that dont speak English to trick!!
this company will never return your calls, you give your deposit and you wont get the place. they are looking for stupid people who don't ask questions. The company is ran by an unprofessional woman Marlayna and her husband this couple is a nightmare. the "executive Director" Kate, seems as immature as a year old she has o idea of what she is doing. this company is sneaky and will do anything to not only keep your money but make you put notice on a place, give you your deposit and say they cant rent to you anymore. I showed my attorney the rental agreement and she said that this is the shadiest company she has ever seen.

Save you time money and look else where. trust me
