First couple years were good I guess I didn’t file any claims, then the increases started so I changed companies for a better price I could afford in 2022. Then 2023 and 2024 Southern Alabama Homeowners Insurance sent bill to my mortgage company for yearly renewal and both years I’ve had to fight and beg them to repay me so it can be put back into escrow. This caused my house payment to increase each time…… still waiting (all this is happening while I have cancer) they don’t care….

We went through First Baldwin and they farmed out to South Alabama for our Homeowners Insurance. When the premium went up (and we had no claims from Sally) we immediately cancelled. This was in January. We have yet to get our full refund back as the "check must be lost in the mail" and on top of that the copy they say they sent took out a "policy fee". The fee was for issuing the policy which we cancelled before they issued. We have tried to call them numerous times and they do not answer their phone. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

One week after hurricane Sally, I've emailed, no response. Called. Lines are busy. Filed a claim, don't even know if they got it. Someone I talked to had to walk into the office to get an adjustor out and STILL hasnt seen him. I know people who have they're roofers out already and I can't even find my agent!

This company is a complete JOKE! 1st of all they undervalued the damage done to our home. We sent them the cost for the roof alone which was doubled what they initially offered than these scumbags had the never to bring a 3rd party to negotiate a settle too which they offered just 1k in compensation! This insurance company needs to be investigated PERIOD for fraud!
