I have pretty bad dental anxiety. Dr. Monika was so amazing. I kinda freaked out in the begining but she stopped and helped me calm down. She didn't make me feel bad. And she continued to check in on me while she worked on my gingivectomy. My permanent retainer hasn't been this clean since it was installed 17 years ago. No one had suggested the deep clean before her and I'm so glad that i did it. I didn't realize my mouth was so inflamed until after this procedure.

My last dentist claimed I likely needed 2 additional root canals after he finished the only one I could afford at the time. I told this to dr. Monika and she was surprised and said she didn't see anything like that. She filled the cavities yesterday that my last dentist claimed might need root canals.

I can't see myself seeing any other dentist in the foreseeable future. Based on my experience so far, I'd honestly fly to her if I needed to.

So my dentist no longer takes my insurance so i came here for my annual cleaning. Usually i get my cleaning and am good to go. Not this time… this time i left with a treatment plan costing upwards of $2600. This dentist wanted to replace all 12 of my fillings. 7 white and 5 silver and said i had two cavities on teeth 7 and 9. I was like WOAH I get my cleanings every year and am in and out no problem. This seemed suspicious, so i had a SECOND opinion from the dentist who put the 7 white fillings in, a THIRD opinion by my dentist that i usually do my cleanings with and a FOURTH opinion by a dentist who takes my insurance. All other opinions said my fillings are fine, there are NOT cavities in teeth 7 & 9 so she was trying to drill and fill perfectly fine teeth… the ONLY thing that needed to be done, but not urgent by any means, was fix a chip between my teeth 29 and 30. Fillings were still fine but since i get food lodged in there sometimes and rarely get a sensitivity to cold we moved forward with replacing both fillings to fix the gap and prevent any discomfort caused by food jamming. So my conclusion is that this dentist is very dishonest and greedy and was trying to ruin my perfectly good teeth just to get more money out of me. If you do go here make sure to get other opinions so you don’t wind up paying to have your teeth ruined.

I am a New patient and My overall experience with Monika Gugale and all of the staff was an amazing experience!

I was taken care of, made sure that I am alright with the whole process. Doing follow-ups and all that was great! And they did great with taking care of the insurance process!

The clinic was clean and very relaxing. And most importantly, they work together as a team and/or family!

I would definitely recommend them!
