I just called and spoke with a woman about a quote on Chubb insurance. She explained quickly that it is required to have 3 policies and rapid fire stated the available policies such that I couldn’t understand what they were (some were insurance terms I wasn’t familiar with. When I then said that I didn’t know which policies would be right for me she bruskly retorted, “I just told you.”

I’m not sure why she fept the need to be rude. I asked her to repeat them and one of the policies was called “umbrella”. I asked her what that was and she said “That probably doesn’t apply to you because it’s for assets.” As if I do not have assets.

This conversation was flabbergasting. I call an agent to purchase a policy and the agent is rude, talks down to me, and then isn’t remotely interested in selling a policy.

Chubb may be good insurance, but this is the wirst experience I’ve had with an agent in 40 years.
