YOU WILL BE TERRORIZED WITH PAYROLL AUDITS!
Horrible service from a terrorizing audit dept. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing at Preferred. We are fortunate to never have had to make a WC claim. However, when we fired them because their audits are a redundant pain in the rear, they continued to send "final" audits over and over and over. The information they demanded was provided to them repeatedly but again, the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing there. They will not let us go...they continue to send large "adjustment" bills and threatening notices a year after we closed our account with them and switched to Paychex, which provides WC that is directly linked to payroll (THIS IS SO MUCH EASIER). If I could leave them MINUS 5 STARS, I would.

Continuously getting audit adjustment bills - after I already cancelled my policy close to 6 months ago. Ridiculous company. You guys are crooks. Payroll hasn't changed in years, but yet I keep getting adjustment bills that don't even tell you what the adjustment is. This company should be reported to the BBB. THE definition of "insurance companies are crooks".

Oh the audits, one after another way too much. then after completing the annual audit with very little notice given you are are asked to prove it by faxing in DE9's! So we are paying for what?

No matter what audit they do, at what time, no matter if payroll and job descriptions stay the same, your policy will go up several hundred dollars at least 2x a year. Do not use this company.
