I have been a client of The MB Group for over 25 years. In addition to consulting on various insurance needs from time to time, Senior Partner Milt Belfer has always been available to discuss various issues that have come up. For instance, When I retired from my career as a hospital CEO, I had the option to retain my company sponsored Long Term Insurance Plan for both my wife and me at our expense.I called Milt and he immediately asked me to send him copies of the policies for his review.
In less than 3 days, he called me to discuss my situation. He had read and digested the very long and complex policies along with the benefit design. He said the plan I had was superior and very rich in benefits and the pricing was fair. Obviously I signed up to keep the coverage active. But Milt's involvement did not end there. Every year he would call me to see if I received any notices of premium accelerators to cover the new costs of care.He would also ask to send him the notices once I received them so he could analyze them to see if the new premiums matched up with the costs of care or if my current coverage would be adequate. Some years he would say stay where I am. Other years he would recommend to approve the increase in premium. Mind you, Milt did not earn one single dollar doing these extra reviews and recommendations. It is part of his philosophy of taking care of the client regardless of whether he received any renumeration or not.

When my term life insurance was becoming more expensive than it was worth, he shopped the market and found my wife and I two Whole Life Policies that were actually cheaper than what I was paying for the term insurance we kept active after my retirement. The death benefit was virtually double that of our term policies.

I have always known the entire MB Group staff to be knowledgeable, courteous, efficient and focused on what was best for the client. Milt has given us his personal attention and has always been available to discuss any of our planning needs. He is a true professional and my wife and I consider ourselves lucky to have him as an integral part of our financial team. I cannot endorse Milt and his firm more positively.
