I incurred a serious injury March of 2023 & was terminated by my job 6 months later, while still disabled. Have struggled financially ever since, including making my loan payments on time. Alycia has helped me many times when I've needed an extension. She is the BEST! Professional, empathetic, & patient. So helpful, making sure I fully understand the entire process. She makes my stressful situation non stressful, for which I am most grateful. She always provides outstanding customer service, which is very difficult to find nowadays. Terrible! Never get a loan from One Main!! I was quoted one APR and given a higher one once I got into the office. Opened my account in the Elk Grove office and my account was switched to West Sac without them telling me. Didn't know until I called to see about a one time courtesy payment skip for a month. The girl I talked to said "Oh lets see about refinancing and lowering payment." Since the have all my info, did not think there would be a hard pull and she did not inform me there would be. But yep hard pull!! AND apparently, unlike other companies who give you a courtesy skip payment once a year, they charge you almost the same cost of the payment to skip it!!! Of the $1535 I have paid back, only a little over $300 has gone to the principal. DON'T DO IT!!!!!

Initially, I was referred to One Main Financial for an upgrade to my initial loan that is in good standing. However, the resulting experience was unsatisfactory: submitted all paperwork for an upgrade and waited for two weeks while the website showed a "pending" status. Sent an email asking for an update - no response received. Finally reached someone in the office who said my application had been declined, despite no information from the company nor update to its website.

Very easy to work with, and they are strait forward when it comes to the loan and what they require for paying it back. I also like the whatever loan amount you get approved for, they make that's how much you get..... whatever fees they need are added to the loan amount
