I had a horrible experience with this agency. NEVER in my life have I had bad service with an Insurance agency. I had a new policy with Diaz Insurance for just about a month. I started my policy with Diaz agency in June 6th. I know that most business's have holiday day's off. Well, I recently had leased a new vehicle from an auto dealership and needed to add my new car to my policy so I can drive it off the lot. I called and the insurance agent Jeannette Gutierrez answered the phone, I explained my situation and what I needed to get done. She simply told me they were closed for the holiday's for 4th of July. I understood that. That was on a Saturday, July 1st. Three day's before 4th of July. I asked her when would they be open, that it was important for me to add this vehicle to my policy. She told me well, We need day's off too you know, to call back Monday. So since I needed to drive my vehicle off the lot by that day. I had no choice but to put my vehicle on a temporary policy on my father's Insurance. So I decided to cancel my policy with Diaz Insurance. I called Jeannette back, and told her I wanted to cancel my policy. She said okay, I'll do that ..You can come in on Wednesday, your policy will be cancelled. But, you need to come in to sign the papers. I had the impression that I no longer had a policy with them. So it took me until 7/27/17 to go to their office to sign those paper's. well, I showed up at 3:20pm and they had a sign saying they would be back by 3:30pm they did not reopen until 3:40. By that time I had been standing outside for 20 min. LATE for work. So when the young lady Jeannette opened the door, I let her know my name and how I was there to sign those paper's. She didn't even look at my account she simply voided that about my policy, and said. Your policy is cancelled due to non payment. So you'll have to come back Wednesday or call when your policy is finalized. When she had told me over the phone on July 1st that my policy would be cancelled by Monday when I had requested it. At this point I'm super upset. Very unorganized very unprofessional. Moral of my big Rant. YOU are there to run a business!Not there to do as you please. Worst Insurance agency I've ever had. And Thanks for pocketing my money! And charging me fee's for "non payment cancellation fee" just to pocket my money for your lousy customer service.

This place is very unorganized Janet can never help she tell you she will call you back with and answer to your needs and never does! Very unprofessional she is the reason why I left the General she doesn’t represent her customers the way she is supposed to. What is the point of having an agent if she can’t answer anything for you! Very disappointed with Janet!!!

terrible practices here. price changes dramatically without reason or explination. if you think they quote you a good price for your policy, just contact the insurer and bypass the diaz agency altogether.

Horrible insurance agency ever. They mess up and put me as married instead of single making my insurance go up all because of their mistake. Not only that they told me they would call me in 15 minutes and they never call back. Take my word if you go here you will be highly disappointed and let down. I hate liars.
