Have used Micah‘s agency for years. And have noticed a trend that they do not respond to calls or emails in a timely manner. Most recently, I called and emailed to cancel one of my policies due to an extraordinary increase, which understandably is not his fault, but after two weeks with no confirmation, they charged a very large sum to my account that should never have been charged and I still cannot get a callback from them. I feel the customer service. Here is very poor.

I am very disappointed with this insurance carrier, I had auto pay for monthly payments, after two months not receiving payments through my bank and one payment being denied instead of calling me to let me know they decided to wait until the second month to call me and charged me returned check fees and treated me like if I was a first time client making them pay half of my six month coverage. I asked for them to waive the fees since it has not been my fault but she refused. I advised her that I will find a new insurance carrier and she did not care to lose such a good and long customer.

I made an appointment two weeks ago to review my policies. When I arrived yesterday his secretary told me he had left for the day and must have forgotten. I said that I wanted him to call me and asked for an apology for wasting an hour of my time driving yesterday. Still waiting for him to call.
I also asked them to put on their calendar to remind me each year a week before earthquake policy is due since it’s not on autopay. They have called once in maybe 5 years and policy has lapsed each time.
Looking for a new agent.

Had allstate for over 10 years. Just changed to progressive. Allstate is crazy expensive!! Especially when you have a newer car, add, remove, anyone, anything, and like 100 other things in fees. It seems they have a $250.00 charge for everything. Added a new car, that way a $250.00 charge. Went for renewal, that was a $250.00 charge. Stopped my insurance, and owed 250 for cancellation. Was paying almost three hundred a month for two 2017 cars. No accidents, no tickets. Hella expensive. Went to progressive. I pay 117 a mon. Thats almost 272 cheaper. Same coverages and all!! Allstate doesn't work with anyone. Their prices are set and they can't change them. Not just my opinion, i had a insurance agent who works at allstate tell me so. 🙁 so do your research folks.

Allstate is not what they used to be! I’ve been with them for YEARS yet my rate is always increased and I called my agent to see why never got a response! It’s time to start shopping again 🤦🏾‍♀️

I live in Central California, just outside of Fresno, this was the only office I could find that would give me the best quotes on insurance and had me insured in just one day! Even though there office is far from me, with their customer service being so good it feels like their in the same town as us!
