Even though I did not use their services, the representative was honest and transparent with me about my particular problem. A public adjuster helps you to collect money that you may not be able to collect from your insurer. They act as your agent in negotiating with your insurance company.

In my case, I had a question about fire damage to my home from last year's Bobcat fire. Another public adjuster had contacted me regarding my filing a claim. The agent told me that he did not feel that he could be of real help because it had been so long between the fire and now. Since he felt that the other company might be specializing on that particular fire, he felt that I would be better off using that company, if I decided I needed a public adjuster.

The moral here is that you can't be all things to all people, and therefore, you should be willing to turn a job down if you think that somebody else might be able to do it better.
